Look out for a cameo by Ugly Duckling DJ/Producer Young Einstein as the ‘crap rapper’ who kindly hung out with us all day while we shot the video in L.A. in 2003. At one point you can see another film crew over the road because a TV show was being shot at the same time but it doesn’t even seem strange or out of place due to the random nature of this video!

“Originally this was a different single, but we couldn’t come up with a good video concept for it, so at the last minute we switched it up and went for VBR (Vicious Battle Raps). Because there is no chorus and Abs just flows non-stop, I decided to do a one take video, but as one take videos have been done to death, I wanted to try something different, so that’s how the speed change idea evolved. I think you can only really appreciate that effect if it is in a one take video because you can see the ramping taking place repeatedly over the course of the video, and hopefully it will make you ask yourself ‘How’d they do that?'”
